Refund Policy

Clear and fair refund terms for our 7-Day Pass and Lifetime plans

At Resumi, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted for our 7-Day Pass (RM 14.90) and Lifetime (RM 79.90) plans.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and may be granted in the following situations:

7-Day Pass (RM 14.90)

  • Request made within 7 days of purchase
  • Technical issues preventing you from using the service
  • Service did not match advertised features
  • Accidental duplicate purchase

Lifetime (RM 79.90)

  • Request made within 7 days of purchase
  • Severe technical issues that cannot be resolved
  • Product significantly different from description
  • Unauthorized purchase (with proof)

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be granted in the following cases:

  • Request made more than 7 days after purchase
  • You simply changed your mind or found another service
  • You used all or most of your AI credits before requesting refund
  • You downloaded or exported your resumes before requesting refund
  • You violated our Terms of Service
  • Free plan users (no payment made)
  • For 7-Day Pass: After the 7-day period has expired

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Email us: support@resumi.my
  2. Subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Email]"
  3. Include:
    • Your account email address
    • Purchase date and receipt/invoice
    • Plan purchased (7-Day Pass or Lifetime)
    • Reason for refund request
    • Any supporting evidence (screenshots if technical issue)
  4. Wait for review: We will review your request within 3-5 business days
  5. Decision notification: You will receive an email with our decision

4. Refund Processing Time

If your refund is approved:

  • Processing: 3-5 business days to initiate refund via Stripe
  • Bank Transfer: 7-14 business days for funds to appear in your account (depends on your bank)
  • Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days for refund to reflect on your statement
  • Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is processed

Note: Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.

5. Account Status After Refund

Once a refund is approved and processed:

  • Your account will be downgraded to the FREE plan (1 resume, 3 AI credits)
  • Access to premium templates will be removed
  • Your resume data will be preserved (you can still access your 1 free resume)
  • AI credit balance will reset to 3 (one-time, not daily)
  • You can upgrade again in the future if desired

6. Partial Refunds

In certain cases, we may offer a partial refund instead of a full refund. This is determined on a case-by-case basis depending on usage, time elapsed, and reason for the refund request. Partial refunds are processed the same way as full refunds.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank/card issuer without contacting us first:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
  • You may lose access to all resume data during the dispute period
  • We will provide evidence of service delivery to the payment processor
  • If the chargeback is found invalid, you may be liable for fees and legal costs

Important: Please contact us at support@resumi.my before initiating a chargeback. We will work with you to resolve any issues.
